It is with great pleasure to announce that Professor Celik’s research team is going to host Dr. Mamoru Iwata (emeritus professor of Kanagawa University), one of the inventors of unbonded braces, to deliver a talk (face to face) on a new type of buckling restrained brace (BRB) at ITU.

This is a part of the new project between Professor Celik’s team at Istanbul Technical University and Kawakin Core-Tech Co., Ltd., Japan. This team is committed to develop and enhance such international collaborative projects at ITU.
